Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Lymphedema Specialist to join a medical and aesthetic clinic in Henley on Thames. This part-time role requires working two days a week, with some flexibility on the days worked. The position offers the opportunity to transition to a full-time role as patient demand increases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive lymphedema assessments, treatment plans, and ongoing management for patients.
- Perform manual lymphatic drainage (MLD), compression bandaging, and other appropriate therapeutic techniques.
- Educate patients on self-management techniques and the use of compression garments.
- Collaborate with the clinics multidisciplinary team to ensure integrated patient care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with clinic protocols.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Promote the clinics services and contribute to patient growth through excellent care and patient education.
Requirements:
- Certified Lymphedema Therapist with relevant qualifications such as a Diploma or Certificate in Lymphatic Therapy from a recognised training provider.
- Registration with a professional body such as the British Lymphology Society (BLS) or the Lymphoedema Support Network (LSN) is highly desirable.
- Proven experience in lymphedema management techniques and treatments.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathology related to the lymphatic system.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Flexibility with working days to accommodate patient needs.
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
Salary and Benefits:
