As an Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer at Coretecs, you assist customers in their transition to Industry 4.0 by bridging the worlds of OT and IT. We use low code technology, DCS/PLC/SCADA and, crucial for you, E&I engineering. We believe that E&I systems play a key role in the transformation journey of smart industries, as they provide the infrastructure, connectivity, and control that are needed to support advanced technologies, such as IoT, AI and big data analytics.

This is who you are

• You have a degree in electrical engineering, electromechanics and/or specialise in automation (if you don't have a degree but can demonstrate relevant experience, thats fine too)
• You have profound knowledge of AREI and electrical installations
• You know all about CAD software like Eplan and/or AutoCAD
• You are familiar with the most common industrial process equipment
• You can communicate effectively, both verbally and written, in Dutch, English, and/or French
• You are open to taking training courses to enhance your skills
• You work in an orderly fashion
• You enjoy working collaboratively in a team environment
• You have that true, hands-on mentality
• You are not afraid to take initiative
• You have an analytical and problem-solving mindset

This is what you'll do

You will work in our team of Coretecs experts providing an extraordinary combination of IT and OT skillsets. You will use your ability to drive Industry 4.0 Transformation Journeys and bring the operational excellence of all kinds of facilities to the next level.

Within your projects, you'll focus on creating solid (hardware) foundations for the next generation of smart factories. You are involved in projects from start to finish. You consult with customers and present them with a high-level design of the E&I system. Once every aspect has been discussed and agreed upon, you'll follow up the implementation and ensure that everything from the transition between high and low voltage, to wiring, commissioning and more is set up impeccably. So, when we say you consult with clients, this is what we mean: you guarantee that your expertise will support them throughout their transformation journey.
