As an industrial software engineer at Coretecs you will support companies within the Manufacturing and Process Industry to plan and execute their Industry 4.0 Transformation Journeys. Developing software applications for an industrial use case requires a multidisciplinary approach. On the one hand, you have the endless possibilities of IT technologies which are rapidly evolving. On the other hand, you must learn and respect the limitations of working within a production environment where availability is crucial.

This is who you are

• You have an advanced degree in Engineering and/or IT
• You have profound knowledge of application software development (.NET, C#, WPF, etc.)
• You understand main industrial protocols (OPC UA, MQTT, etc.)
• You are familiar with agile software development principles
• You are skilled in database management (MS SQL Server, Azure SQL, etc.)
• You are eager to delve into common practices like DevOps and CI/CD
• You have an analytical and problem-solving mindset
• You enjoy working collaboratively in a team environment
• You can present a track record of leadership in an academic, professional, and/or extracurricular setting
• You can communicate effectively, both verbally and written, in Dutch, English and/or French
• If you can present trainings and/or certificates from the following topics, that would be greatly appreciated: Microsoft Azure & Microsoft SQL Server
• Object-Oriented Programming (Design Patterns)
• If you already have experience in the Manufacturing and/or Process Industry, thats a big plus

Your projects will be focused on developing and maintaining robust software applications in a Manufacturing and Process Environment. You will be the key enabler for the realisation of Industry 4.0 projects by creating tailor-made innovations together with our customers.
