About the Role:
A leading steel production and recycling company is seeking experienced Electricians to support operations and drive continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on production equipment.
- Support automation systems, including PLC troubleshooting and programming.
- Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to enhance performance and drive process improvements.
- Conduct predictive and preventive maintenance using CMMS or related systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety policies, procedures, and housekeeping standards.
- Be available for rotating schedules, overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 4 years of experience in industrial (or comparable) electrical maintenance, OR
- Equivalent education/military training in Electrical.
- Formal Training Requirement: A 2-year electrical or related technical degree OR military training in Electrical is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in steel mill electrical maintenance.
- Strong understanding of power systems and automation technologies.
- PLC troubleshooting and programming expertise.
- Basic knowledge of hydraulics and mechanics.
- Proven ability to drive process improvements and collaborate with operations.
- Additional certifications or degrees in Electrical or related fields.
