About the Role:

A leading steel production and recycling company is seeking experienced Electricians to support operations and drive continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on production equipment.
  • Support automation systems, including PLC troubleshooting and programming.
  • Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to enhance performance and drive process improvements.
  • Conduct predictive and preventive maintenance using CMMS or related systems.
  • Ensure compliance with safety policies, procedures, and housekeeping standards.
  • Be available for rotating schedules, overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 4 years of experience in industrial (or comparable) electrical maintenance, OR
  • Equivalent education/military training in Electrical.
  • Formal Training Requirement: A 2-year electrical or related technical degree OR military training in Electrical is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in steel mill electrical maintenance.
  • Strong understanding of power systems and automation technologies.
  • PLC troubleshooting and programming expertise.
  • Basic knowledge of hydraulics and mechanics.
  • Proven ability to drive process improvements and collaborate with operations.
  • Additional certifications or degrees in Electrical or related fields.
