About the job Technical Product Manager
We're hiring our first Technical Product Manager to own and shape the future of our product from the ground up. This is a high-impact, high-ownership role where you'll drive the full product lifecycle — from concept to launch — while working directly with customers in the field.
If you thrive in fast-paced startup environments, enjoy solving complex real-world problems, and can balance deep technical thinking with strategic vision, this is your opportunity to build something meaningful.
The Role
As our first Product Manager, you'll be deeply embedded with customers, gaining firsthand insight into their operations and translating those learnings into scalable, high-impact solutions. This is a hands-on, forward-deployed role where you won't just plan products — you'll actively help build and refine them in real time.
What You'll Do
-
Travel up to 50% (approx. 25% onsite with customers across the U.S. + occasional international travel)
-
Shadow cross-functional teams to understand workflows, reporting structures, and communication dynamics
-
Rapidly prototype and iterate solutions directly with users in the field
-
Translate complex operational challenges into scalable product features
-
Partner closely with engineering and sales to create tight feedback loops
-
Own and prioritize the product roadmap aligned with business goals
-
Collaborate with government and industrial partners to help shape emerging standards
-
Turn ambiguous, high-stakes problems into practical, scalable solutions
-
Use data and customer feedback to continuously improve the product experience
-
Help establish and scale the product management function
What We're Looking For
-
2–8 years of experience in technical product management, forward-deployed engineering, or software engineering

Proven track record of shipping enterprise-grade products
-
Experience at a Seed–Series C, VC-backed startup (or founding experience)
-
Background working with industrial, defense, or government customers preferred
-
Strong backend engineering fundamentals and computer science knowledge
-
Ability to rapidly prototype and build alongside customers
-
Comfortable in client-facing, technical environments
-
Entrepreneurial mindset with strong initiative (side projects, startups, etc.)
-
Willingness to travel up to 50%
