Are you an aspiring Actuarial professional, interested in joining an established Life Insurance & Investments brand with a renewed vision for their development moving forward?

CORE Talent Solutions is delighted to be partnering with our established Life Insurance client, looking for an experienced life insurance professional or Actuary to join the actuarial department, supporting the business strategy in developing the financial management approach for its with-profits funds.

Key responsibilities of the Development Actuary:

• Produce proposals such as bonus recommendations, changes to PPFMs and annual reporting on compliance.
• Support ongoing activity relating to the financial management of the with-profits funds
• Support strategic initiatives, including M&A and with-profits transformation activity.
• Liaison and interaction with other departments, including Risk, IT and Pricing teams
• Attend Executive and Board level committees as relevant.
• Support of wide actuarial function or wider business as required.

Key skills or background required for the Development Actuary:

• Experience life insurance professional
• Qualified, or nearly qualified actuary
• Good working knowledge of life insurance products including with-profits and their operations
• Strong communication skills, comfortable engaging with and sitting on board-level committees
• RAFM modelling and SQL experience is desired
