Opportunity Overview

Core Asset Co. is looking to add an Asset Management Project Manager to our Brisbane team, in response to our steady business growth. This role involves leading and executing projects, both independently on smaller tasks and as a team leader on larger ones. You'll also play a key role in guiding and developing our junior staff. Expect occasional travel to client sites.

Candidate Profile

This position is suited for individuals with a solid background in Mining Asset Management who are adept at problem-solving and ready to tackle new challenges.

You can expect your role to involve:

  • Lead project manager on projects with a project team of up to 5 people.
  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Coordinate and manage project resources, including project team members and external contractors.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct regular project status meetings and prepare project progress reports for clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Manage project risks and issues, including identifying and mitigating risks and resolving issues as they arise.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet client requirements and are of high quality.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of our clients.
  • Provide project management guidance and support to project team members.

What you'll bring

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in mining asset management.
  • Proven understanding and implementation of effective asset management strategies.
  • Ability to enhance asset performance for clients.
  • Advanced analytical skills.
  • Methodical work approach with strong attention to detail.
  • Experience with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (e.g., SAP, Pronto)
  • Must have Australian working rights.
