Cooinda Search is partnering with a growing Western Australian fire protection contractor seeking an experienced Dry Fire Project Manager to lead its construction division and play a key role in the next stage of the business's growth.
Working closely with the Director, you'll have genuine influence over project delivery, operational outcomes and the future direction of the division.

Experienced Fire Project Managers, along with technically strong Fire Supervisors ready to step into Project Management, are encouraged to apply.
The Role
You will manage dry fire and gas suppression projects from award through to completion and handover, ensuring projects are delivered safely, profitably and in accordance with relevant Australian Standards.
You'll be supported by an experienced team and have access to the resources required to deliver successful project outcomes.
The role offers exposure to a broad range of commercial, industrial, infrastructure and government projects across Western Australia.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing multiple concurrent construction and installation projects.
- Coordinating labour requirements and project resources.
- Managing procurement and material requirements.
- Preparing and managing project variations.
- Completing project certification and handover documentation.
- Attending site meetings and coordinating stakeholders.
- Building strong relationships with clients, builders, electrical contractors and other project stakeholders.
- Providing technical guidance and support to site personnel when required.
- Assisting junior personnel with design interpretation and compliance requirements.
- Ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and profitably.

About You
You will ideally possess:
- Experience delivering dry fire protection projects.
- Strong technical knowledge of dry fire and/or gas suppression systems.
- Experience managing labour, materials, subcontractors and overall project delivery.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Commercial awareness, including project profitability, variations and resource planning.
- Knowledge of relevant Australian Standards and compliance requirements.
- Experience with programming and commissioning fire protection systems will be highly regarded but is not essential.
- Current driver's licence and full Australian working rights.
