As a Global Shipping Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the bookings and shipment schedules of our shippers and customers. This role involves selecting reliable overseas agents, communicating and negotiating with carriers and international freight forwarders. Additionally, the officer oversees the logistics of transporting, and distributing goods, ensuring that shipment is managed efficiently and deliveries are made on time. With a focus on optimizing supply chain processes, the role requires strong organizational, negotiation, and communication skills, as well as the ability to resolve issues that arise during procurement or logistics operations.

What you'll be working on:
- Acting as the main point of contact between shippers, forwarders and logistics partners, providing shipment updates, and handling inquiries or complaints.
- Arranging Customer Orders with carriers or overseas agents, monitoring vessel or flight schedules and cutoff times
- Manage import/export documentation, booking and tracking of Full Container Load (FCL) or Less than Container Load (LCL) shipments with clients.
- Negotiate payment terms, base freight rates, fuel surcharges and most importantly, Free time allowances
- Coordinate with the Orders Team in managing POs for Suppliers and customers from Origin to Destination
- Ensuring purchases align with organizational needs, policies, and budget.
- Managing contracts, maintaining accurate procurement files, preparing reports, and ensuring that all actions comply with internal controls and regulatory standards.
- Coordinating shipment to international agents
What were looking for:
At least 2 years of experience in logistics or the related industry
Proficient in procurement software and inventory management systems (ERP).
Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Suite.
Speaking Chinese is an advantage.
Strong decision-making skills
Deep understanding of D&D (Detention & Demurrage).
Knowledgeable of Incoterms, HS Codes, Customs Clearance, Bills of Lading, and Certificates of Origin.
Familiar with NAC vs FAK rates.
Strong organizational skills, accuracy and attention to detail are essential
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
