IT Business Analyst

About the Role

Responsible for managing and optimizing the procurement process within an organization. This role will focus on analyzing, optimizing, and improving business processes through the effective use of ERP systems. As an IT Business Analyst, you will play a key role in collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, identify challenges, implement ERP solutions and ensure that ERP applications meet the needs of the business. This position requires strong problem-solving skills, a deep understanding of business processes, and expertise in ERP software. Working closely with planners and multiple managers, you will focus on understanding the business data, planning, and creating systems to improve processes to achieve business objectives.

What you'll be working on

Business Analysis/ Process Improvement:

• Analyze current workflows, identify gaps, and recommend improvements using SAP ERP functionalities to streamline operations.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports, including cash flow forecasts.
• Evaluate budget performance and align financial goals with organizational strategies.
• Develop and implement Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to track and measure business performance across departments.

Collaboration

• Collaborate with managers to collect and document ERP system requirements, identify areas for operational improvement, specifically for SAP.
• Filter and align requests to organizational goals and objectives.
• Work closely with the Planner team to ensure alignment in forecasting and inventory management.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to provide timely and accurate financial insights.

Data Management & Reporting:

• Create reports and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making.
• Identify and implement the best ways to utilize existing software to enhance decision-making.

Continuous Improvement:

• Stay updated on the latest ERP trends, best practices, and new features in SAP and Tableau. 
• Recommend process improvements and optimizations to enhance system capabilities.

What were looking for

• Open to candidates with at least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in ERP systems; prior work in a similar industry is desirable.
• Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration or a related field. ERP certifications (e.g., SAP) are a plus.
• Proficiency in SAP, ERP systems, and financial reporting tools. Experience with Tableau for data reporting and visualization is a plus!
• Ability to analyze complex business requirements, identify system gaps, and offer actionable solutions.
• Experience managing or supporting SAP, ERP implementation projects, including timelines, resources, and stakeholder management.
• Excellent communication skills to engage with multiple stakeholders and managers.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; experience with data visualization tools is an advantage.
• Analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail and a problem-solving attitude.

Job Type: Full-time, Graveyard Shift ( 10PM- 7AM)
