We are currently seeking a Level 3 Belt Splicer to join our permanent residential core crew conveyor technicians at Nhulunbuy (Gove), Northern Territory.
This role will be residential based in Nhulunbuy with a minimum of a 3-year contract with provision to extend; working full-time hours (Monday to Friday - 50 hours per week).

ABOUT THE ROLE:
Being a part of the core crew conveyor technicians team, you'll be responsible for:
- Belt Splicing, repairs, maintenance and installations of fabric and steel cord conveyor belts;
- Identification of belt damage, faults and determine method of repair;
- Shutdowns and belt change outs.
We also provide opportunities for our teams to be involved in Global Projects.
ABOUT YOU:
We're looking for a positive, energetic team player who possesses previous experience in a Belt Splicing on conveyor systems, and;
- an absolute commitment to safety and safe work practices,
- valid Drivers Licence - essential
- Cert III in Polymer Processing
- Confined Space and Working at Heights training
- EWP, Dogging and Rigging Licenses - desirable but not essential
- ability to fulfill the inherent physical tasks required of this job - which will include repetitive lifting of weights up to 25kgs and working in hot climates.
