A rare opportunity now exits for a highly skilled Conveyor Technician based out of our Perth workshop. This is a Monday to Friday role with occasional Saturday work. Site travel will also be a requirement as part of this role when needed.

ABOUT OUR ROLES:

With multiple projects across WA for you to be a part of, you'll be responsible for:

  • Belt Splicing, repairs, maintenance and installations of fabric and steel cord conveyor belts,
  • Identification of belt damage, faults and determine method of repair.
  • Shutdowns and belt change outs.
  • Team player with a strong work ethic
  • an absolute commitment to safety and safe work practices.

We also provide opportunities for our teams to be involved in Global Projects.

ABOUT YOU:

  • Experience with steel cord belt splicing essential
  • High risk license, working at heights and confined spaces tickets required
  • valid Drivers License - HR license is desirable
  • ability to fulfill the inherent physical tasks required of this job - which will include repetitive lifting of weights up to 25kgs and working in hot climates.

Whilst not essential, we would look favorably upon applicants who have completed a:

  • Certificate II or III in Polymer Processing or equivalent
  • Working at Heights training.
  • EWP, Dogging and Rigging License.
