As our client expands its operations in Asia, we are seeking a Logistic Analyst to integrate into their global logistics framework. The role is based in Singapore and entails managing key logistic procedures, providing active support to the sales team, supporting office administration in areas such as payroll administration and providing additional administrative support to assist with the company's market development strategies.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
LOGISTICS ANALYST - SINGAPORE
Documentation Management:
- Plan and ensure efficient and effective transportation and distribution of materials.
- Ensure accuracy of order received, validate quantity, material code and enter order into the SAP system
- Prepare and handle all import and export shipping documents such as invoice, Bill of Lading, packing list, Certificate of Origin, Insurance, Inspection and Fumigation certs, etc.
- Ensure relevant shipping documents are ready and delivered to respective parties such as customers and banks in a timely manner
- Maintain record of vendors invoices to generate report.
- Arrange courier and delivery of document.
Inventory Management:
- Manage import shipment into the warehouses.
- Update record of Inventory in the companys SAP System
- Assist with monthly inventory check
Customer Service Management:
- Coordinate with Commercial Team, Agents, Customers and HQ, on shipping schedule/Delivery/Collection
- Process orders timely and accurately
- Support the Commercial Team with logistics requirement.
3PL Management:
- Coordinate with 3PL/freight forwarders to schedule booking, transport & shipping documentation arrangements.
- Compliance and Audit
- Maintain record of import and export permit for GST filing
- Assist the manager with internal and external audit.
- Other tasks assigned by Management.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma Holder in Logistics / Supply Chain Management / Business Admin with 1 -2 years working experience preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office is required. Experience in SAP is advantageous.
- Strong team player with a positive attitude and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Able to work under pressure, independent and meticulous.
- Good interpersonal and organizational skills
- Highly adaptable and willing to learn
