Description:

under the general direction of the physician (Cardiologist/Radiologist) will assist by scrubbing procedures or monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data as related to diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures performed in the cardiovascular lab. Ensures procedure room is adequately prepared for the procedures. Monitors par level of all instruments and supplies. Participates in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities/ Assists in all aspects of invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures

AART-R and license as required by state/certified cardiovascular tech or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist required
Previous experience in a cardiovascular lab
cardiovascular tech training program with emphasis in invasive cardiology and hemodynamic monitoring preferred
BCLS required
ACLS required
Proficient computer skills

Hours
M-F 730-4p depending on late cases
Call every 3rd weekday and ever 3rd weekend
Preferred Cathlab and Interventional Radiology Experience
Canon Equipment Cath lab
Philips and Siemens Equipment IR
