Job Description

Essential Functions of the Job:

  • Conducts pre-screening interviews of healthcare clinicians and submits identified candidates to Clinical Recruitment manager for interviewing. May set-up interviews for hospital liaisons or managers and may participate in in-person interviews.
  • Conducts in-person and telephone Intake meetings with the Clinical Recruitment Manager to learn recruitment needs, compile screening questions, and set expectations of search results.
  • Receives guidance and coaching from Senior Recruitment Manager to evaluate, develop, and implement effective recruitment.
  • Provides consultation with the Clinical Recruitment Manager on all aspects of recruiting and staffing processes. Communicates regularly with her
  • Builds and maintains a network with community resources that results in a quality, diverse candidate pool. This includes internet sourcing, attending job fairs and partnering in health care education activities.
  • Ensures candidates background meets requirements on job descriptions.
  • Ensures that open Job Requests Orders and job descriptions by contracted healthcare facilities are understood as discussed with the Clinical Recruitment Manager before posting to Platinum Healthcare Staffings job boards (Indeed, LinkedIn, Careerbuilder, Zip Recruiter, Facebook)
  • Posts all open positions through the help of our compliance staff, which are being recruited for on intranet/company web page to allow internal candidates to apply for position (JobDiva.com)
  • Responsible for setting up appointments for required pre-employment physical and PPDs. Coordinates background checks with candidates and reviews results with Conquest Healthcare Staffings compliance department as needed to ensure candidates eligibility for hire.
  • Reviews applications and notifies the Clinical Recruitment Manager of any potential conflicts before any offer to the applicant/clinician
  • Ensures I-9 documentation is provided within 3 days of hire date.
  • Creates offer letters, obtains required signatures and mails and emails to potential job candidates.
  • Emails HR Manager and Compliance Analyst of all new hires in order to set up employee number, email, extension, ID badge and schedule new hire orientation.
  • Submits new hire information that requires follow up to the Compliance Manager for reporting. Forwards all information to HR Manager to ensure that the Pre-employment process is met for healthcare requirements (Physical, TB test, drug screen, etc.) and professional credentials and licenses validity

Additional Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintains job opening and accurate information in our own Applicant Tracking System (ATS, JobDiva.com) for the posting report.
  • Assists the Clinical Recruitment Manager with creation of Job Orders by the facilities as needed.
  • Prepares employment statistics for reports and recruiting metrics dashboard monthly
  • Coordinates employment activities with all staff and ensures legal compliance.
  • Supports the recruiting team and helps place qualified candidates faster.
  • Searches social networks and portfolio sites to identify potential candidates.
  • Sends recruit emails and organizing an effective employee referral system.
  • Asks for referrals from internal or external networks for hard-to-fill roles.
  • Contacts past candidates for new job opportunities.
  • Has a hands-on experience with different ATS (Applicant Tracking System) and other Human Resources Management software.
  • Assists in securing staff for absences, leaves, etc., adjusting schedules as required.
