Position Summary:
As the Chief of Pulmonary Medicine, you will direct the clinical and operational activities of the pediatric pulmonary department. This leadership role involves managing clinical coverage, developing departmental strategy, and leading initiatives for program enhancement, quality improvement, and staff mentorship. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in pediatric pulmonary care along with a background in leadership and strategic planning. Key Responsibilities:

  • Clinical Oversight: Manage daily clinical operations, including physician and nurse practitioner staffing, and provide direct patient care within the pulmonary practice.

  • Operational Management: Develop and implement departmental policies, mentor clinical staff, and ensure smooth operational workflows.

Qualifications:

  • MD or DO with an active and unrestricted medical license in Pennsylvania.
  • Completed ACGME-accredited Pediatric Residency and Pediatric Pulmonary Fellowship.
  • Board Certified in Pediatrics.
  • At least 5 years of clinical experience in an outpatient pediatric pulmonary setting.
  • Minimum of 3 years in a leadership role with experience in practice management and change management.

Candidate Details:

  • Experience Level: Mid-Senior, 2+ to 5 years of leadership experience preferred.
  • Education: Doctorate Degree in Medicine.
