Imaging Supervisor
Job Description:
Salary: $78K - $118K
Signing Bonus: Yes
Bonus Description: $15,000, subject to applicable taxes, paid out in three payments
Relocation Package: Partial
We are seeking an Imaging Supervisor to lead our imaging team while maintaining the ability to work clinically as required. This dual role offers the opportunity to oversee a team in a unionized environment, manage advanced imaging technologies, and ensure smooth departmental operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee departmental operations, including staff scheduling, workload delegation, and task supervision.
 - Act as the primary liaison between the Radiology Director and the imaging team, ensuring effective communication and workflow management.
 - Perform routine and complex imaging tests across areas such as general radiography, fluoroscopy, DXA, CT, mammography, and OR imaging.
 - Ensure adherence to quality control standards and address issues promptly.
 - Monitor and manage departmental inventory, including supply ordering and equipment maintenance.
 - Support clinical operations by covering shifts as needed for vacation or call-outs.
 - Coordinate staffing needs and provide leadership in a collaborative environment.
 - Assist with upcoming upgrades to imaging technology and integration into clinical workflows.
 
Qualifications:
- Licensure/Certification: ARRT certification required.
 - Experience: Proven experience in imaging modalities, with prior leadership experience preferred.
 - Skills: Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational abilities; familiarity with Epic EMR and Visage PACS systems preferred.
 
Must-Haves
- ARRT certification.
 - Experience in general radiography, fluoroscopy, DXA, CT, mammography, and OR imaging.
 - Supervisory experience or demonstrated leadership in a clinical imaging environment.
 - Strong organizational and communication skills, including delegation and team coordination.
 - Familiarity with Epic EMR and Visage PACS systems.
 
Nice-To-Haves
- Experience in a unionized healthcare environment.
 - Knowledge of quality control processes and equipment maintenance.
 - Familiarity with Hologic mammography units and bone density equipment.
 - Ability to maintain clinical competency while managing administrative responsibilities.
