Job Overview:

A leading healthcare organization is seeking a full-time Strategic Account Executive to play a critical role in driving strategic growth, retention, and market expansion. The Strategic Account Executive will be the primary face of the organization, engaging with influential brokers, employers, and community and government leaders to foster new business growth while retaining existing strategic groups. This role requires expertise in large group health insurance sales, business development, strategic planning, and relationship management.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base Salary: USD $93,267 to $138,028 (based on qualifications)
  • Full Benefits Package: Comprehensive health benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage.
  • Relocation Assistance: Available for the ideal candidate.
  • Bonus & Commission: Not eligible for commission or bonus.
  • Overtime: Not eligible for overtime.
  • Interview Travel Reimbursed: No.

  • Work Schedule:
      • Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Hybrid (Tuesday and Thursday in the office).
      • Weekly guaranteed hours: 40.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Drive strategic growth and retention for large group and self-funded health insurance lines of business (LOBs).
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for brokers, employers, and key community and government leaders, building long-term relationships to support new business development and retention.
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to expand the companys market presence.
  • Work closely with internal teams to execute strategies that meet revenue goals and enhance client satisfaction.
  • Regularly engage with clients to ensure ongoing satisfaction and address concerns in a timely manner.
  • Effectively manage relationships with existing clients to maintain business and grow their accounts.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand market trends and adjust strategies accordingly.

Job Qualifications:

  • Education:

    • Bachelors degree in a related field is preferred, but 4 years of relevant experience can substitute for a degree.
  • Experience:

    • 6 to 10 years of health-related sales experience, with at least 4 years in large group health insurance sales.
  • Licensing:

    • Ability to obtain and maintain a State of Nevada Health Resident Producer license within 90 days of hire.
    • Ability to obtain and maintain a Nevada drivers license within 30 days of hire.
  • Skills:

    • Must have working-level knowledge of the English language (reading, writing, and speaking).
    • Strong relationship-building skills, with experience managing large accounts and clients.
    • Expertise in sales strategy, account retention, and market expansion in the healthcare industry.
    • Proven ability to meet revenue targets and business growth goals.
