Our client is seeking a GSE Mechanic in Papua New Guinea 

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced GSE Mechanic to join our Engineering Division. You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing ground support equipment, ensuring safe operations, and supporting preventative maintenance programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and comprehensive maintenance of fuel tractors, tugs, and cargo equipment.

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain all GSE to ensure operational readiness.

• Conduct inspections and safety checks to identify and resolve issues.

• Respond to emergency breakdowns when required.

• Carry out welding and related mechanical duties when needed.

Requirements:

• Trade Certificate or equivalent experience in mechanical/engineering roles.

• Proven experience in maintenance and repair of heavy or ground support equipment.

• Strong leadership and communication skills.

• Ability to work in remote locations and under pressure.

• Skilled in the use of power and hand tools.
