Operations/Warehouse Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Operations/Warehouse Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse management and operations, with a proven track record of success in improving processes and increasing productivity. The Operations/Warehouse Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and logistics. This is a full-time, permanent position with excellent opportunities for growth and advancement within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee all aspects of warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and logistics

- Develop and implement processes and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity

- Monitor and track inventory levels and ensure accurate record-keeping

- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods

- Manage a team of warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations

- Ensure compliance with all safety and security protocols

- Analyze data and generate reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement

- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of orders

- Identify and implement cost-saving measures to improve profitability

- Stay informed on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve warehouse operations

Qualifications:

- Matric

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse management / operations

- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and procedures

- Excellent leadership and communication skills

- Proven track record of improving processes and increasing productivity

- Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions

- Experience managing a team and developing staff

- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

- Knowledge of safety and security protocols

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Warehouse Management System (WMS)software

- Must have a valid drivers license and own vehicle
