Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Provide technical expertise in IT infrastructure and network administration for multiple clients working both on-site and remotely
  • Administer and maintain computer systems (PC and Mac), network infrastructure, VPN, backup solutions, and VOIP
  • Design, configuration, deployment, and maintenance of applications, servers, storage, and network solutions, both on-premises and in the cloud.
  • Management, configuration, and deployment of firewalls, switches and other networking equipment
  • Monitor clients systems, troubleshoot issues, and provide strategic recommendations for optimal performance and continual uptime
  • Plan and execute system upgrades, patches, and migrations with minimal operational disruption
  • Respond to escalated help desk tickets communicate effectively with clients through scheduling work, providing status updates and solution progress
  • Maintain cybersecurity best practices and keep current with industry trends and emerging technologies
  • Create and update documentation related to projects, procedures and best practices
  • Manage internal and external IT projects on scope and budget
  • Perform other assigned duties as needed

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of IT related experience; Managed Services Provider experience a plus
  • Installation, management and maintenance of server operating systems with strong knowledge of troubleshooting server issues
  • Experience with VMware and Hyper-V
  • Proven ability to setup, configure, and troubleshoot business class firewalls
  • Microsoft 365 Administration experience
  • Experience with Windows PowerShell or other scripting knowledge, multifactor authentication, virtual networking, VOIP are preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional client service
  • Enthusiasm for working in a team environment
  • Organized, detail-oriented and professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated, dependable and passionate about technology
  • Certification (CompTIA Network+, Security+, MCSE, MCSA, CCNA) a plus
