About the job SharePoint Developer
The SharePoint Developer will be expected to perform Microsoft SharePoint Designer and Microsoft SharePoint Programmer developer and administrator tasks. Additional responsibilities include performing software development and maintenance and supporting the SharePoint RMF tool working group. The successful candidate will also possess the ability to identify enhancements to the tool.
Duties
Performs SharePoint developer and administrator tasks to include, but not limited to:
- creating/modifying/deploying templates, workflows, wikis, and dashboards;
- application software integration, analysis, design, testing; and
- web part, site, and sub-site creation and maintenance.
Performs software and web development on all Air Force Network environments.
Supports the SharePoint RMF working group to suggest enhancements and build a better user interface.
Keeps abreast of new technologies, explores new products and tools, and provides recommendations to be considered for increased efficiency.
Updates documentation, processes, and customer support documentation, as needed.
Builds classified list on the organization's Intellink website.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or equivalent required.
- Minimum 3 years of experience with a solid technical understanding of SharePoint required.
- Prior working experience in SharePoint Designer is highly desired.
- Strong working knowledge and experience with SharePoint requirements, design, testing, validation, deployment and user administration.
- Must have at least 3 years of experience in software and web development.
- Experience with HTML, Javascript, CSS, SQL, and other languages is required.

- Prior working experience in Visio, PowerShell, and Visual Studio preferred.
- Prior working experience with Microsoft Access desired.
- Must be able to take user requirements and translate them into system improvements.
- Prior experience in cyber risk assessment desired.
- Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to collaborate and communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
- Must be able to read and correspond to all communication methods (e.g., emails, instant messaging, phone calls,etc.) promptly, and providing feedback, when applicable.
- Possess excellent planning and organizational skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
- Candidate must be a quick learner who is passionate about technology. Must be able to learn new technology areas, as directed.
