Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a PhD Electrical Engineer with a specialty in RF (Radio Frequency) and Antenna Design. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting cutting-edge research, developing innovative solutions, and providing technical expertise in the field of RF and antenna design. Responsibilities:
- Conduct research in the area of RF and antenna design, with a focus on developing novel concepts, techniques, and methodologies.
- Design, simulate, and optimize RF circuits and systems, including antennas, filters, amplifiers, and transceivers, using state-of-the-art tools and software.
- Develop and implement experimental setups and conduct measurements to validate the performance of RF and antenna designs.
- Analyze and interpret data, and present research findings through technical reports, conference papers, and other relevant channels.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, researchers, and scientists, to develop integrated solutions for complex engineering challenges.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in RF and antenna design, and contribute to the development of intellectual property, patents, and publications.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, and contribute to the professional development of the team.
Qualifications:
- PhD in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in RF and antenna design.
- Strong background in electromagnetics, microwave theory, and RF circuit design.
- Proficiency in using simulation and design tools such as CST Microwave Studio, HFSS, ADS, or similar.
- Experience in designing and optimizing various types of antennas, including patch antennas, dipole antennas, and array antennas.
- Knowledge of RF components and subsystems, such as filters, amplifiers, mixers, and oscillators.
- Familiarity with measurement equipment, such as network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop innovative solutions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proven track record of publishing research findings in reputable conferences or journals is a plus.
