Plant Manager
Job Description:
Responsibilities:
Technical
- Manage and develop the plants operational and maintenance program including training plan with the assistance of the Engineers.
- Promote a good working relationship between client (Master Developer and Plot Owners) and the operating company.
- Ensure submission of all monthly reports that are required by the client (Master Developer).
- Manage the logistics of resources to ensure smooth operation of the plant.
- Responsible for reporting of all incidents in the plant which could affect the health, safety and environmental targets.
- Take full responsibility for task planning for the operating and maintaining the works within budget.
- Set the budget for each of the work functions and monitor expenditures. Take appropriate action to remedy deviations in cost profiles.
- Ensure full compliance with all undertakings and performance criteria as disclosed in the Concession Agreement signed between company and Master Developer.
- Implement best working practice throughout the plant.
- Responsible for the smooth execution of Integrated Management System (IMS) and acting as the IMS Site Representative.
- Ensure that staff is adequately trained to undertake their responsibilities in a competent and safe manner.
- Ensure that plant shutdowns are dealt with safely and effectively by the site team.
- Monitor the development of operations procedures and preventive maintenance
- Administering and taking lead (with the assistance of commercial/ business development team) in securing the services agreements - Wastewater and Recycled Water Services with new clients (plot owners).
- Ensuring the services provided to clients (plot owners) are in compliance with the terms and agreements stated in the services agreements.
- Ensure all Health, Safety and Environment aspects are in place and practiced in the workplace.
- Responsible for Emergency Response Plan (ERP), Crisis Management Plan (CMP), and Risk Assessment.
- Ensure that HSE policies and IMS procedures are implemented and applied in all plant related activities.
- The responsibilities toward HSE shall include;
- a) Complying with HSE and in the event of doubt of certain issues to consult Plant Manager for advice or instruction.
- b) Wearing allocated PPE provided by the employer to suit working condition requirements.
- c) Seek advice from HSE personnel for any of the PPE provided does not provide the required protection.
- d) Participate in any program for promotion of HSE.
- e) Prevent occurrence of Unsafe Act and Unsafe Condition at workplace
- Ensure the cleanliness of process equipment and plant area.

Qualification:
- University Degree Bachelor of Engineering Environmental Engineer
- 5 8 years working experiences
- IELTS Level 7
- H&S Certificate - Confined Space
- H&S Certificate - Safety Officer Technical level
- Good interpersonal, problem solving, Leadership skill
