Commercial Bid Manager

 Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the Commercial department.
  • Oversee and prioritize all tenders workload and schedule.
  • Develop and manage tendering, contract review, order process and related activities.
  • Work with sales personnel, engineering team and various cross functional teams from the plant and vendors for preparation of enquiries and tender proposal.
  • Ensure bid proposals adhere to finance and legal guidelines.
  • Develop strategies to achieve company set goals and profitability for assigned markets.
  • Identify resources, plan work schedule and track progress.
  • Manage the operational budget for the Commercial department.
  • Responsible for contract review and order processing for projects won.
  • Provide coaching to enhance the professional development of the commercial department.
  • Identify, develop and implement process improvement initiatives for the order and tendering team.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Must possess business level proficiency in mandarin (Primary market is Chinese speaking). ONLY mandarin proficient candidates will be considered.
  • 8-10 years in a similar capacity and industry.
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in well control and surface products.
  • Have demonstrated chronicle success in winning multi-million dollar tenders.
  • Good team player with ability to work with all levels of staff.
  • People and service oriented personality with confident and positive attitude.
  • Strong business acumen with good connection to customers in the industry.
  • Excellent leadership, coaching and people management skills.
  • Good negotiation, communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel as and when required.
