Offshore Methods Marine Engineer

- Perform all necessary preparation for vessel mobilization for good slot relocation work for BP Tangguh TEP Offshore
- Coordinate with vessel owner and BP Marine GOO.
- Develop mooring installation procedures and all other marina vessel operation procedures.
- Develop a bridging document between the BP GPO document and the requirement from GOO
- Develop other T&I document as requested by PMT
- Experience in method engineering and project coordination, with offshore and site inspection experience preferred.
- Oversee project programs to ensure they meet plans, designs, and specifications.
- Maintain an organized filing system and manage document reviews and distribution.
- Monitor work progress, review procedures, and reports, and ensure deliverables meet requirements.
- Work with the technical team on vessels, support installation teams, and advise on technical matters.
- Conduct onshore inspections to ensure project requirements are met.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
- Experience in method engineering and project coordination, with offshore and site inspection experience preferred.
- Strong skills in interpreting technical designs and managing projects.
- Good communication skills for liaising with clients and teams.
- Organizational skills to manage documentation and tasks efficiently.
- Experience in offshore and onshore operations is a plus. Has knowledge of the offshore construction vessel including vessel preparation
- Understand international codes and standards related to marine vessel operation (DNG GL, etc)
- Understand Teluk Bintuni Characteristic
- Understand the marine vessel verification process.
