Offshore Methods Marine Engineer

  • Perform all necessary preparation for vessel mobilization for good slot relocation work for BP Tangguh TEP Offshore
  • Coordinate with vessel owner and BP Marine GOO.
  • Develop mooring installation procedures and all other marina vessel operation procedures.
  • Develop a bridging document between the BP GPO document and the requirement from GOO
  • Develop other T&I document as requested by PMT
  • Experience in method engineering and project coordination, with offshore and site inspection experience preferred.
  • Oversee project programs to ensure they meet plans, designs, and specifications.
  • Maintain an organized filing system and manage document reviews and distribution.
  • Monitor work progress, review procedures, and reports, and ensure deliverables meet requirements.
  • Work with the technical team on vessels, support installation teams, and advise on technical matters.
  • Conduct onshore inspections to ensure project requirements are met.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
  • Experience in method engineering and project coordination, with offshore and site inspection experience preferred.
  • Strong skills in interpreting technical designs and managing projects.
  • Good communication skills for liaising with clients and teams.
  • Organizational skills to manage documentation and tasks efficiently.
  • Experience in offshore and onshore operations is a plus. Has knowledge of the offshore construction vessel including vessel preparation
  • Understand international codes and standards related to marine vessel operation (DNG GL, etc)
  • Understand Teluk Bintuni Characteristic
  • Understand the marine vessel verification process.
