Project Engineering Manager
Job Description:
Connect Energy partners with an O&G company to look for a PROJECT ENGINEERING MANAGER to work on their upcoming project in Singapore.
Responsibilities
The incumbent shall be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
- Manage and lead the conduct of all technical aspects of Feasibility & FEED studies required to achieve FID of LNG Terminal expansion projects with the support of internal and external expertise
- Conduct market research and technical feasibility analysis of potential new businesses, asset enhancement and business cases for expansion of Terminal with the support of internal and external expertise, including selection of Feasibility/FEED consultants and leading them to develop a terminal design and layout that satisfies objectives and requirements
- Assess technical expertise and capability of external consultants and contractors on a continuous basis and lead tendering to select best service providers for the FEED and EPC projects.
- Produce Terminal designs in compliance with statutory, regulatory and company requirements and procedures in accordance with contract requirements, agreed specifications and within all applicable codes
- Lead the preparation of engineering analysis of all projects including preliminary design, calculations, and equipment selection
- Define and scope all engineering designs, modifications and upgrades
- Lead and participate in technical reviews, such as HAZID, HAZOP, Model Reviews, SIL reviews, RAM analysis, layout reviews, QRA, EIA and other process related operational hazard analysis, as it applies to plant cause and effects, process hazard analysis, and relief system safety analysis and prepare safety specifications and design calculations
- Assist in the long-range planning for the growth of the company, participate in evaluating potential projects or acquisitions from an engineering and technical feasibility basis
- Manage engineering documents for all disciplines with minimum support and prepare engineering studies and reports
- Review applicable regulations and codes to ensure company standards and policies are current
- Develop and train engineers for a strong, professional and technically sound engineering team
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering
- At least 15 years experience in FEED and EPC Projects environments in oil and gas or process industry, preferably in LNG, LPG and/or cryogenics projects
- Delivered at least 1 oil and gas and 1 LNG project as Engineering Manager
- Good understanding of process safety in plant design is a requirement
- Willing to take on 2 years' contract
