Purchasing Engineer

• Good command in English
• Knowledge in IATF 16949
• Experience at least 3 years in Automotive

Responsibilities:

1. Issue RFQ, follow up quotation, negotiate price, compare and present to supervisor for approval.

2. Issue PO, confirm delivery date with courier or forwarder and follow up to ensure products and raw materials to bein place on time.

3. Evaluate the new supplier. Make assessment reports and submit to supervisors

4. Register new supplier, supplier's information change management and report to supervisors for approval.

5. Sourcing raw material prices from new and current suppliers when requested within the specific time

6. Representing the purchasing department to work in cross functional team in New project and APQP starting from RFQ, product and process design and development until Start of Production.

7. Evaluate CQD of suppliers and report to supervisors and also report score to them and follow up on the improvement of which supplier who falls under improvement criterion.

8. Make a presentation of the annual Cost Reduction Department and summarize the Cost Reduction results received each month.

9.Working with the forwarder on the import so that they can import the products to CAC on time.

10. Working with the Quality Department in case of product claims to protect the company's interests that should be received.

11. Collaborate with planning department to issue PO and track raw materials into schedule.

12. Control the cost of imported goods to meet the target each year and under the specified budget.

13. Daily report of problems and work's progress to the supervisor.

14. Reports KPI on assigned topics and report it on time.

15. Keep and maintain the documents of the purchasing department in accordance with the company's quality procedure.

16. Negotiate the purchasing agreement with the supplier until both parties are accepted.

17. Comply with the policy of quality, environment, health and safety.

Qualification:

• Bachelors degree of Engineering, Science, Economics or Business administration.
• Age over 22 years old. Experienced in purchasing of automotive business would be advantaged.
• Good at Microsoft Excel, Work, PowerPoint (Intermediate to advance skill)1. TOEIC 500 up, be able to communicate in English with the good of 4 skills, listening, speaking, reading and writing.
• SAP software skills would be advantaged.
• Be able to read and understand basic Engineering drawing and measurement unit. Having process knowledge of Plastic injection, metal stamping, jig&tool, machining, electroplating
• Experienced in New model/project buyer from the automotive parts industrial.
• Having knowledge in APQP, and PPAP and be able to perform the system and basic knowledge of IATF169496.
• Having drivers license.
• Having knowledge of import-export process, incoterm and transportation system between country.
