Qualifications & Certifications
- Degree in Civil / Mechanical Engineering or any other relevant engineering field from recognized Higher Learning Institution.
Experience
- minimum of fifteen (15) years working experience in the Oil & Gas Industry and must have previous experience as a Deputy Project Manager and Project Engineer.
- The candidate must possess at least five (5) years experience at a Management Level or Management Role capacity and preferably, completed a minimum of two (2) projects of EPCIC Contract

- Proven track record in managing the previous projects.
- Demonstrated strong Project Management skills.
- Solid technical knowledge with understanding and hands-on experience in the projects.
- Possess good interpersonal skills and excellent in client management and internal communication skills.
- Excellent in English, both written and verbal communication skills.
- Good in presentation skills and influencing / convincing people.
- Strong organizational skills including attention to details, multi-tasking skills and punctuality.
- Strong in management and leadership skills and able to motivate people.
- Possess good business acumen and financial skills.
- Performance driven, committed and tactful in conflict management.
Main Responsibilities
- Review the overall project contract and requirements; to clearly understand the project scope, expectations and deliverable.
- Strategize the execution plan of the project to ensure all key success factors and risks of the project are incorporated in the plan.
- Establish and maintain appropriate channels of communication among the project members; to ensure important and accurate information are shared with the right personnel.
- Participate in safety initiatives / campaigns and inculcate safety mindset /culture among project members and workers; to enhance safety awareness and safe working environment / behavior.
- Manage project stakeholders both internally and externally to ensure they are provided with sufficient and right information about the project.
- Lead relevant project meetings either within the company or with the clients; to update/ to be updated on any major highlights of the project.
- Oversee and manage overall project resources to ensure the resources are adequate and available throughout the project cycle.
- Establish and maintain rapport with relevant parties which include but not limited to functional Head of Departments, Team Leaders; to enhance working relationship and to ensure smooth execution of the project.
- Oversee overall performance of the project team and provide relevant supports/ assistance; to ensure the performance is maintained.
- As and when, perform other relevant duties within the capacity of the Project Manager to ensure the project is successful.
- Provide leadership to the assigned project to ensure the project is accomplished safely and with quality, within the agreed timeline; and at the budgeted cost.
