Company Site Representative

 Job Description:

There are 4 openings for COMPANY SITE REPRESENTATIVE for different roles to be filled for a subsea pipelay project in Bukom. Project will commence in April 25 for 1 year with possible of further 6 months extension. 

Responsibilities

  • Reports to Project Engineer for daily operations and to Project Manager functionally
  • Interface with EPCI contractors to ensure adherence to the performance standards, drawings and specification
  • Provides oversight and day to day coordination with the EPCI contractors to ensure delivery as per contract
  • Monitor performance of the EPCI construction work against the defined acceptance criteria, schedule and look ahead plan
  • Oversees the work of company's QA/QC and HSSE site personnel
  • Ensures implementation of Management of Change procedure at site.
  • Verifies and endorses EPCI contractor's daily reports
  • Responsible for coordinating with Construction Manager, Project Engineers, Quality Lead and HSSE Lead to ensure that rotation of Site Representatives is effectively managed, and subsequently manage the agreed rotation cycles.
  • Proactively supports and embeds Project's Goal ZERO for HSSE in Engineering, Constructions, Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning and Start Up activities
  • Provide guidance to HSSE site representatives by clearly outlining the applicable HSSE Management Systems, procedures, and safety programs to be applied in the project.
  • Attend toolbox meetings at regular intervals and proactive reports / intervened unsafe acts and unsafe conditions
  • Ensure that the EPCI contractor complies with the HSSE requirements of the EPCI contract at site. 
  • Provide guidance to QA/QC site representatives on the applicable Quality Management System, procedures and quality program to be applied in the project.
  • Ensures that the EPCI contractor complies with the Quality requirements of the EPCI contract.
  • Support company's Project Manager and Project Engineers to proactively manage the risks and provide daily update on any such development
  • Ensures that all identified risks are properly reported to COMPANY and ensures that agreed mitigation plans for risks identified earlier are adhered to at site
  • Ensure that all interfaces between company and EPCI contractors are  proactively managed at site. 

Requirements

Role 1: GENERAL CSR

  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Strong HSSE and QA inclination a must
  • Must have prior experience as CSP working in an offshore environment
  • Experience as Offshore Construction Manager an advantage
  • Tertiary education an advantage

Role 2: CSR on Pipelay Vessel

  • Min. 15 years' experience in subsea pipeline installations, preferably involving large diameter subsea pipelines.
  • Experience on projects with diving and ROV (remotely operated vehicle) a must
  • Experience on subsea pipeline repair method using hyperbaric welding an advantage

Role 3: CSE on SBM Installation Vessel

  • Min. 10 years' experience in offshore construction
  • Familiar with SBM installation or similar (FPSO etc) involving chain and anchor pile installation ( been involved in at least 3 such projects)
  • Experience on projects with diving and ROV's mandatory

Role 4: CSR on Trenching Vessel

  • Min 10 years' experience in subsea pipeline construction projects involving seabed intervention
  • Experience in trenching and backfilling works, with at least having worked on 3 previous offshore projects that involved trenching and backfilling works.
