Job Description

• Costing functions such as standard cost amortization, variance analysis, cost summary review, etc.
• Annual standard cost updates in Oracle system
• Review and manage AR including collection, cash application, credit limit, invoice transmission, dispute resolution, etc.
• Review and manage distributors Ship & Debit claims,
• Audits assist in inventory and distributors audits. Some (minimal) travelling needed
• Inventory E&O provisions, account reconciliation, in-transit review, distributor inventory reconciliations, etc.
• POS review, upload and validation
• Accruals for various items such as samples, adders, wafer receipts, etc.
• Return Material Authorization (RMA) accruals and review
• Rebate review, accrual, authorization and payment
• Discrepant Material Requisition (DMR) validation and review process.
• Liaise with auditors on specific item related to duties specified
• New System implementation and projects
• Any other duties as may be assigned by Finance Manager or Director.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Commerce or Business Administration
• 6 years experience in a manufacturing environment
• Audit experience in reputable public accounting firm (preferably in the Big Four).
• Must be a Chartered Accountant, Institute of Cost Accountants (ICMAI), MBA or CPA
• Good excel skills (Pivot table, Vlookup, etc.
