Quality Assurance Manager

 Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with Corporate QA Manager to develop, implement and maintain quality assurance (QA) policies to prevent issues leading to poor product quality
  • Review and approve inspection SOP, Work Instruction, Checklist, control plan or special inspection instructions (SII) and ensure all documents are updated
  • Maintain and ensure Quality Management System is in place and in compliance with API Spec Q1/Q2 and API 6A
  • Identify and analyse quality problems. Liaise with internal departments, customer and vendors to work on problem solving
  • Devise an operational excellence model for investigations, evaluate the impact of process deviations on operations
  • Review of in-house and vendor non-conformance and corrective actions
  • Handle complaints related to quality issues and ensure that complaints are being investigated with corrective and preventive action carried out
  • Plan and conduct internal audits and participate in customer/supplier audits for compliance
  • Review audit results and the proposed changes for procedures
  • Establish operational, analytical and documentation standards aligned with industry best practices
  • Ensure that quality records (Inspection Reports, Calibration Certificate, NCR log, etc) are well filled up and that corrective actions have been taken in case of deviance
  • Create, review and approve Quality Inspection Test Plan per Engineering Data Sheet and Contract
  • Ensure all measuring, monitoring and testing equipment are in working condition and within calibration period
  • Liaise with NDT contractors and customer for inspections, generate inspection reports and compile data books
  • Ensuring all product quality, process quality and system quality conform to customers specifications and internal quality system requirements
  • Oversee QC activities, ensuring proper documentation of records and review of reports to be submitted
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to read and write in Thai
  • Degree Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 7 years relevant working experience preferably in Oil & Gas Industry
  • Possess good knowledge in management and implementation of Quality Management System
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving abilities
  • This role will be based in Songkhla, Thailand
