Business Develpment Manager
Job Description:

To lead business development and sales activities for the companys solar-as-a-service offering in Thailand including lead generation, offer generation, negotiation and contract closing across multiple industrial and large commercial target segments.
Responsibilities:
- Identify, target, contact potential customers that fit the Company's criteria
- Engage, promote and convince customers of the benefits of the solution
- Support Companys organised events and seminars with audiences of potential target customers
- Participate in trade events with a view to network and generate leads
- Generate offers for long-term rooftop solar PV solutions for industrial and large commercial customers
- Play an active role in long-term agreement negotiations
- Support engineering and project teams where required to ensure project success
- Help, from time to time, in liasing with competent authorities in terms of project licensing and permits
- Play an active role in the regional BD team by sharing feedback, intelligence and contributing to continuous improvements
- Actively use and keep the Company's CRM tool (SalesForce.com) updated
- Support existing customer management to ensure their satisfaction
Requirements:
- 3 - 7 years experience in business-to-business sales or business development experience
- Thai national with fluent command of spoken and written native language
- Outstanding interpersonal skills in a sales context
- Good analytical and project management skills
- Candidate must be able to work independently and efficiently under tight deadlines
- No specific industry experience is required but strong interest in renewable energy required
- Ability to work in a flexible, fast-paced, high-growth working environment
- Energy, drive and resilience associated with long sales cycles
- Communicative enthusiasm for a service that will make a difference to the world and its environment
- Ability to relate to multiple functions, roles and seniority levels in customer organisations from facility management, procurement, and also MD/GM levels.
- Demonstrated track record and networks in relevant industries
- Solid ability to understand, convey, discuss and argue key contractual aspects of commercial agreements
- Must own a car with a valid drivers licence to visit clients
