SUMMARY:

We are looking for a driven and curious Business Development Executive – Partnership & Commercial to create and grow new business opportunities with strategic partners, including leading universities and corporate organizations.

You will work closely with senior leadership and collaborate across Marketing, Sales, Technology, Product, and Operations to turn ideas into actionable projects.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building partnerships, solving problems, and taking ownership from planning through execution. Technical expertise is not required, but you should be comfortable learning about technology products and communicating with technical teams.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partnership & Commercial Development Identify and develop new business opportunities with strategic partners. Create partnership models such as co-selling, resource exchange, joint campaigns, and co-created products, while preparing proposals, commercial plans, and supporting negotiations.
  • Project Management Manage projects from planning through execution, translate business direction into clear action plans, and coordinate timelines, deliverables, and stakeholders.
  • Cross-Functional & Tech Coordination Work closely with Marketing, Sales, Product, Technology, and Operations. Communicate business requirements clearly and support new workflows, product development, and basic system integration discussions.
  • Stakeholder Management Build strong relationships with corporate partners, universities, and senior executives, while presenting proposals, project updates, and business recommendations professionally.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Background: Experience in Business Development, Partnership, Account Management, or background in a Management Trainee program.

  • Industry Experience: Experience working in a Startup or the Tech / Learning industry is highly preferred.

  • Tech Savvy: Interested in technology and able to work effectively with Product and Technology teams.

  • Business Acumen & Communication: Good business sense with the ability to structure ideas and turn them into practical plans. Confident in presenting, coordinating, and communicating with stakeholders at different levels.

  • Ownership & Self-Service: High sense of ownership. A proactive problem-solver who can work independently, figure things out, and drive results without micro-management.

  • Agility & Adaptability: Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.

  • Language Skills: Proficient in English.
