About the job Industrial Maintenance Mechanic
Our client is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to support production and facility operations. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, repairing, and improving manufacturing equipment to ensure safe and reliable plant performance.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on mechanical and electro-mechanical maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday | 6AM–4PM or 6AM–6PM

Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and work documentation.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair production and facility equipment.
- Follow all safety, quality, and environmental policies and procedures.
- Perform basic welding, fabrication, and facility maintenance tasks as required.
- Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and facility improvement projects.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and support timely restoration of production operations.
- Repair and replace mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electro-mechanical components.
- Maintain spare parts inventory and support vendor and contractor coordination when necessary.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance activities to maximize equipment uptime and reliability.
Qualifications (Must-Haves)
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Basic electrical troubleshooting knowledge.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
- Experience maintaining industrial production equipment.
- Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals.
- Minimum 3 years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience.
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical maintenance work.
- Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, gearboxes, motors, conveyors, and related mechanical systems.
Preferred Skills:
- Welding and fabrication experience.
- Experience with preventive maintenance programs.
- Knowledge of industrial safety practices and lockout/tagout procedures.
- Familiarity with electro-mechanical systems and production equipment installations.
- Experience in plastics, packaging, manufacturing, processing, or similar industrial environments.
