Our client is seeking a Senior Project Scheduler to develop, maintain, and analyze integrated project schedules for large-scale construction projects within the Oil & Energy sector. This role requires advanced Primavera P6 expertise, strong analytical skills, and the ability to lead through influence in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.

Contract Duration: 12 months | W2

Location: Candidates must reside within a reasonable daily commuting distance (up to 1 hour) | Local Tulsa-area candidates are strongly preferred

Requirements:

  • Identify schedule risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Establish schedule logic, critical path, milestones, and resource loading.
  • Prepare and present schedule reports, dashboards, and recovery plans.
  • Support change management, time impact analysis, and claims-related schedule reviews.
  • Facilitate scheduled review meetings and collaborate across engineering, construction, procurement, and project controls.
  • Mentor junior schedulers and elevate scheduling maturity across the project team.
  • Build, maintain, and manage fully integrated project schedules using Primavera P6.
  • Perform schedule updates, progress measurement, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Analyze schedule impacts related to scope changes, design evolution, and field conditions.

Qualifications/Must-Haves:

  • Proficiency with Power BI for reporting and analytics.
  • Experience working in fast-paced, multidisciplinary project environments.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of project scheduling experience supporting large-scale construction projects.
  • Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 (required)
  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing, work packaging, and project controls.

Preferred Skills:

  • Leadership experience (formal or informal)
  • Certifications such as PMP, PSP, or PMI-SP.
  • Knowledge of contract scheduling requirements and delay/claims support.
  • Experience with mega-projects, EPC, or multi-phase construction programs.
  • Exposure to cost controls, earned value management (EVM), or risk analysis.
