About the job Orthopedic Physical Therapist – Outpatient
Our client is seeking experienced Orthopedic Physical Therapists to support and help grow a specialized orthopedic and regenerative rehabilitation program. This role blends hands‑on clinical care with opportunities to contribute to program development, clinical protocols, and community engagement. The position offers extended one‑on‑one treatment sessions in a patient‑focused, cash‑based environment that prioritizes outcomes over insurance limitations.

Work Schedule: 4–5 days per week onsite, with occasional evening or weekend community events as required
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clinical staff and mentor support personnel.
- Participate in community education, workshops, and referral‑building activities.
- Provide individualized one‑on‑one care with a low daily caseload (~7–8 patients/day)
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic documentation with minimal administrative burden.
- Support development of orthopedic and regenerative rehabilitation protocols, including shockwave therapy (training provided)
- Evaluate and treat patients using evidence‑based orthopedic techniques, manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and return‑to‑activity programming.
Qualifications (Must-Haves)
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT)
- Active Iowa PT license or eligibility to obtain licensure.
- Interest in regenerative rehabilitation techniques (training provided)
- Experience treating orthopedic conditions, including return‑to‑activity or return‑to‑sport rehabilitation.
Preferred Skills:
- Outpatient orthopedic or pelvic‑health background.
- Comfort working in a small, autonomous outpatient setting.
- Experience with manual therapy, return‑to‑sport programming, or specialty program development.
