Our client is seeking experienced Maintenance Supervisors that will be responsible for leading day‑to‑day maintenance operations, overseeing a team of skilled technicians, and ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient equipment performance. This role plays a key part in minimizing downtime, supporting production goals, and driving continuous improvement across the plant.

Responsibilities:
Maintenance Leadership
- Supervise daily maintenance activities, ensuring timely completion of work orders and rapid response to equipment breakdowns.
- Plan, assign, and monitor preventive maintenance for production machinery, support equipment, and spare parts inventory.
- Lead, coach, and develop a maintenance team of 10–20 technicians, promoting skill development, accountability, and teamwork.
- Ensure all maintenance work meets safety, quality, and regulatory standards (OSHA, USDA, and internal policies)
Projects & Continuous Improvement
- Support cost‑containment initiatives and assist with maintenance budget adherence.
- Coordinate small‑scale maintenance and facility improvement projects to enhance equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
- Track, analyze, and report maintenance KPIs, including downtime, PM completion rates, and cost performance.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Partner with production, quality, and operations teams to align maintenance priorities with production schedules.
- Communicate expectations, performance goals, and equipment status updates to internal stakeholders.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for maintenance‑related issues and escalate concerns when necessary.
Technical Responsibilities
- Perform additional duties as needed to support plant operations.
- Identify, diagnose, and troubleshoot equipment irregularities or performance issues.
- Review and interpret diagrams, blueprints, and technical documentation to plan and execute maintenance work.
Qualifications (Must-Haves)
- 2+ years of supervisory or team‑lead experience.
- Strong leadership, communication, and project coordination skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documentation.
- 3–6 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications (Word, Excel; CMMS preferred)
- Working knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, refrigeration, boiler, and mechanical systems.
- Experience with preventive maintenance programs and troubleshooting industrial equipment.
- Technical training, vocational coursework, or equivalent experience in maintenance, engineering, or industrial technology.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry items over 25 lbs.
- Ability to climb, crawl, kneel, squat, reach, and twist as needed.
- Comfortable working in a food manufacturing environment with strict safety and sanitation standards.
