Our client is seeking a Construction/Project Manager to support capital projects across a large, complex operational environment. This role oversees new construction, renovations, and MEP infrastructure projects from planning through closeout, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and budget compliance.

The ideal candidate brings strong experience managing contractors, coordinating with internal stakeholders, and delivering projects in critical or highly regulated environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare cost estimates, proposals, and negotiate change orders.
  • Maintain project documentation, meeting minutes, and reporting.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and execution plans for assigned capital projects.
  • Review project scope, evaluate changes, and manage client directives, field bulletins, and schedule impacts.
  • Lead project meetings and communicate progress, risks, and financial status to stakeholders.
  • Manage subcontractors, consultants, and vendors to ensure contract and safety compliance.
  • Oversee quality control, safety, and adherence to design specifications, codes, and standards.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal teams, contractors, and external partners.

Qualifications (Must-Haves)

  • OSHA 30 certification or ability to obtain within 120 days.
  • 5+ years of management experience leading contractors or project teams.
  • Ability to work effectively in critical environments and adapt to evolving processes.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred but not required)
  • 5+ years of construction or project management experience in new construction, renovations, and MEP infrastructure.
  • 3+ years of experience in facilities maintenance, plant operations, or engineering services.
  • Proficiency with MS Office; working knowledge of MS Project, Procore, and Bluebeam.

Preferred Skills:

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working in large, complex, or highly regulated environments.
  • Familiarity with MEP systems, infrastructure upgrades, and critical facility operations.
