Our client is seeking a Senior HR Specialist to lead benefits administration and manage the full leave program. This role is ideal for an HR professional with strong compliance knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a passion for supporting employees through benefits, wellness, and leave processes.

Onsite | No Visa Sponsorship | No Relocation Assistance

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyze benefits and leave reports.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and plan‑level regulations.
  • Conduct new hire benefits onboarding and support UKG enrollment.
  • Maintain accurate HRIS data, benefit records, and leave documentation.
  • Support annual open enrollment, plan renewals, and benefits audits.
  • Administer all employee benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and wellness initiatives.
  • Serve as the primary contact for benefits questions, issue resolution, and vendor coordination.
  • Manage end‑to‑end leave administration (FMLA, PFML, ADA, STD/LTD, workers compensation coordination, etc.)
  • Assist with training program administration, including recordkeeping and scheduling.

Qualifications/Must Haves:

  • High school or equivalent required.
  • Strong attention to detail and compliance mindset.
  • Experience with HRIS systems (UKG preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience in benefits administration and leave management.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and employee‑support skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of FMLA, PFML, ADA, STD/LTD, and workers compensation.

Nice‑to‑Haves:

  • HR certification (PHR, SHRM‑CP)
  • Benefits audit or plan renewal experience.
  • Experience in manufacturing or multi‑shift environments.
