Our client is seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Scheduler/Planner to support capital projects and facilities‑related construction initiatives across multiple sites. This role is part of a project controls team supporting a major energy client and requires strong expertise in Primavera P6, MS Project, and schedule/cost reporting.
You will develop, maintain, and analyze project schedules, identify risks, support project managers, and ensure accurate reporting for internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:
- Develop, update, and maintain detailed project schedules and integrated master schedules.
- Perform weekly schedule updates and prepare monthly schedule status reports.
- Identify schedule risks and support mitigation strategies with project teams.
- Apply scheduling logic, resource loading, predecessor/successor relationships, and constraints.
- Provide recommendations to improve scheduling processes, tools, and reporting accuracy.
- Support project managers with schedule forecasting, progress measurement, and cost/schedule alignment.
- Coordinate with contractors, engineering teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure schedule integrity.
- Conduct critical path analysis, baseline management, and schedule variance reviews.
- Maintain documentation, meeting minutes, and schedule‑related administrative records.
Qualifications/Must-Haves:
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- High attention to detail and schedule accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- 4+ years of direct project controls experience using Primavera P6.
- Formal training in project scheduling techniques and associated software.
- Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams and contractors.
- Proactive approach to identifying risks and recommending solutions.
- Strong proficiency with MS Project and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Adobe)
- 3+ years of experience in facilities maintenance, plant operations, engineering services, or commercial construction environments.
- Advanced knowledge of scheduling methodologies, documentation practices, and project controls processes.
Preferred Skills:
- Professional certifications (PSP, PMI‑SP, PMP)
- Familiarity with integrated facilities management environments.
- Exposure to cost controls, earned value, or schedule‑cost integration.
- Experience supporting energy sector or industrial construction projects.
