Our client is seeking experienced Commercial Roofers who will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining commercial roofing systems while adhering to strict safety and quality standards.
Onsite | No Visa Sponsorship | No Relocation Assistance
Location: Candidates must reside within a reasonable daily commuting distance (up to 2 hour) | Local Warren-area candidates are strongly preferred
Requirements:
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company safety protocols.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes and project requirements.
- Communicate professionally with team members, supervisors, and customers.
- Assist with project updates and collaborate with crew leads to meet deadlines.
- Install, repair, and maintain commercial roofing systems including TPO, EPDM, PVC, Modified Bitumen, Built-Up Roofing (BUR), and commercial metal systems.
- Remove old or damaged roofing materials and prepare surfaces for new installation.
- Cut, shape, and secure roofing materials according to project specifications.
Qualifications/Must-Haves:
- 4+ years of commercial roofing experience.
- Commitment to safety and attention to detail.
- Outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
- Requires standing, climbing, lifting, and working at heights.
- Ability to perform all essential duties safely and effectively.
- Reliable, hardworking, and able to work in a team environment.
- Strong understanding of commercial roofing systems and installation methods.
Preferred Skills:
- OSHA-10 or OSHA-30 certification.
- Experience mentoring junior roofers.
Education/Certifications:
- No formal education required.
- High school diploma or GED preferred but not mandatory.
- 4+ years of commercial roofing experience may substitute for formal education.
- Apprenticeship training or industry certifications (NRCA, OSHA-10/30) are a plus.
