Our client is seeking an experienced Fixed Operations Manager to lead its Service and Parts departments. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on, accountable leader with deep dealership fixed‑operations expertise, strong financial acumen, and a proven ability to improve profitability, productivity, customer satisfaction, and retention.

Strong candidates demonstrate multi‑year ownership of fixed‑operations performance, KPI improvement, and team development.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee technician scheduling, workflow, staffing levels, and productivity.
- Lead, coach, and develop Service and Parts managers and department staff.
- Maintain high standards for customer service, quality, safety, and compliance.
- Support recruiting, hiring, training, and retention of fixed‑operations personnel.
- Address escalated customer concerns and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Set departmental goals and hold teams accountable for achieving performance targets.
- Analyze operational and financial reports to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with dealership leadership and other departments to support overall business goals.
- Manage budgets, expenses, inventory, payroll, and overall financial results for fixed operations.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase fixed‑operations profitability, productivity, and customer‑pay revenue.
- Oversee daily operations of the Service and Parts departments, ensuring strong performance and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure proper processes for repair orders, warranty administration, parts handling, labor documentation, and customer communication.
- Monitor and manage KPIs including RO count, labor hours, effective labor rate, parts sales, gross profit, technician productivity, and service retention.
Qualifications (Must-Haves)
- All education levels will be considered.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
- 7–10+ years of automotive dealership fixed‑operations experience.
- Strong customer‑service, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
- Prior management experience overseeing Service and/or Parts operations.
- Ability to hold teams accountable while maintaining a positive work environment.
- Ability to analyze financial and operational reports and make data‑driven decisions.
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing managers and department personnel.
- Strong understanding of dealership fixed‑operations processes, KPIs, and financial performance.
- Demonstrated ability to improve profitability, productivity, retention, and customer satisfaction.
