Cath Lab Technologist (RCIS/ARRT-CV) – $20K Bonus – Hickory, NC

Our client is seeking experienced Cath Lab Technologists to join a high‑performing cardiovascular team within an acute‑care hospital. In this role, you will support diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, assist physicians during cases, and ensure safe, accurate, and efficient patient care.

This position is ideal for an RCIS, ARRT‑CV, or an experienced Surgical/Paramedic Tech with Cath Lab experience who thrives in a fast‑paced procedural environment.

Work Schedule & Environment:

• 4×10 Day Shift
• $20,000 sign‑on bonus
• Acute‑care hospital Cath Lab setting
• Call: 1 night per week + every 5th weekend

Requirements:

Procedural Support

• Operate imaging, monitoring, and hemodynamic equipment.
• Prepare patients, equipment, and procedure rooms according to protocol.
• Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures.
• Scrub, circulate, and/or monitor hemodynamics depending on credentials.

Patient Care & Safety

• Support patient transfers, recovery, and post‑procedure care.
• Maintain sterile techniques and ensure radiation safety standards.
• Administer medications and contrast media within scope of practice.
• Monitor, document, and communicate patient status throughout procedures.

Team Collaboration

• Work closely with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Participate in call rotation and meet required response times.
• Contribute to a culture of safety, accuracy, and clinical excellence.

Qualifications (Must-Haves)

• BLS certification.
• Current ARRT or RCIS certification.
• ACLS (or obtained within 6 months of hire)
• Ability to work independently in a high‑acuity procedural environment.
• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent Cath Lab experience.

Preferred Skills:

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Prior experience in a Cath Lab, EP Lab, or Interventional Radiology. 
• Proficiency in radiation safety, sterile technique, hemodynamic monitoring and scrubbing cardiac procedures.
