Confident Staff Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team as a contractor in the Operating Room at a leading hospital in Providence, Rhode Island. As an RN in the Operating Room, you will be responsible for providing safe and effective care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assessing and monitoring patients before, during, and after surgery

- Collaborating with the surgical team to plan and implement patient care

- Administering medications and anesthesia as directed by the surgeon

- Ensuring proper positioning and preparation of patients for surgery

- Monitoring and maintaining sterile fields

- Assisting the surgeon during procedures

- Providing education and support to patients and their families

- Documenting patient care and maintaining accurate records

- Adhering to all hospital policies and procedures

Requirements:

- Active RN license in the state of Rhode Island

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Operating Room

- BLS and ACLS certifications

- Strong critical thinking and communication skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-stress environment

- Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills

- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed
