Our client is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join their team on a temporary basis in Lakeview, OR. As an OT, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive rehabilitative services to patients with physical, mental, or developmental disabilities. Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities to determine their individual needs and develop appropriate treatment plans

- Provide individualized therapy sessions to patients, utilizing evidence-based techniques and interventions to improve their functional abilities and quality of life

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and speech therapists, to develop and implement a holistic treatment approach

- Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes

- Educate patients and their families on strategies for managing their conditions and promoting independence

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation in accordance with professional and facility standards

- Adhere to all ethical and legal standards, as well as facility policies and procedures, in the delivery of occupational therapy services

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program

- Current state OT license and registration

- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in rehabilitation or long-term care

- Strong knowledge of occupational therapy principles, techniques, and modalities

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

- Compassionate, patient-centered approach and a genuine desire to help others

- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and patient needs

- Current BLS/CPR certification
