Job Description:

Confident Staff Solutions is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Pharmacist to join our team on a contract basis in Mishawaka, IN. As a Contractor Pharmacist, you will be responsible for dispensing medications and providing pharmaceutical care to patients in accordance with state and federal regulations. You will work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the safe and effective use of medications.

Responsibilities:

- Dispense medications accurately and efficiently according to prescriptions

- Review and interpret physician orders and patient information to ensure appropriate medication use

- Counsel patients on proper medication use, potential side effects, and drug interactions

- Monitor patient drug therapies for effectiveness and adverse reactions

- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement medication therapy plans

- Maintain accurate and organized records of medications dispensed and patient information

- Comply with all state and federal regulations regarding the dispensing of controlled substances

- Stay up-to-date on new drugs, treatments, and regulations in the pharmaceutical industry

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited college of pharmacy

- Current and active pharmacist license in the state of Indiana

- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a licensed pharmacist

- Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and procedures

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

- Proficient in computer systems and pharmacy software
