Job Description:

Confident Staff Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team in Glens Falls, NY. This is a temporary, full-time position that offers competitive pay and benefits.

As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures using radioactive materials to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of various medical conditions. You will work closely with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care and accurate results.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients in accordance with established protocols and safety guidelines

- Operate imaging equipment to obtain diagnostic images of various body parts and systems

- Monitor patient's vital signs and assess for any adverse reactions during and after procedures

- Process and analyze images to ensure quality and accuracy

- Maintain accurate records of procedures and patient information

- Collaborate with physicians to determine appropriate treatment plans based on test results

- Educate patients on procedures and answer any questions or concerns they may have

- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations

- Maintain inventory of radioactive materials and ensure proper disposal

- Keep up-to-date with advancements in technology and techniques in the field of nuclear medicine

Qualifications:

- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology

- Current certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)

- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist

- Knowledge of radioactive materials and their safe handling and disposal

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management skills

- Basic computer skills and experience with electronic medical records systems
