Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Technologist - Computed Tomography (CT) to join their team in New Lenox, IL on a temporary basis. The Technologist - Computed Tomography (CT) will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using CT equipment, ensuring the highest quality images are produced for accurate diagnosis. This individual will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide patient care and maintain a safe and comfortable environment for patients.

Responsibilities:

- Perform diagnostic CT procedures according to physician orders and department protocols

- Prepare and position patients for procedures, explaining the process and answering any questions

- Operate CT equipment and make adjustments to obtain quality images

- Monitor patients during procedures and report any adverse reactions or changes in condition to the physician

- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure proper documentation of procedures

- Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe and clean work environment

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide quality patient care

- Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives

- Keep up-to-date with advancements in CT technology and techniques

Requirements:

- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field

- ARRT (CT) certification

- State license as a Radiologic Technologist

- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist

- Strong knowledge of CT equipment and procedures

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills

- Flexibility to work various shifts and weekends as needed

- Current BLS certification
