We are currently seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our team at a field distribution company in Bolingbrook, Illinois. This is a temporary to permanent position, with the opportunity for long-term employment for the right candidate. As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring that products are received, stored, and shipped efficiently and accurately.

Responsibilities:

- Receive, unpack, and inspect incoming shipments of products

- Accurately record and report any damaged or missing items

- Label and organize products for storage in the warehouse

- Pick and pack orders for shipment to customers

- Use forklifts and other equipment to move products around the warehouse

- Maintain a clean and organized work environment

- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts

- Follow all safety procedures and protocols

- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors

- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Prior experience in a warehouse or distribution environment preferred

- Forklift certification is a plus

- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

- Basic computer skills and ability to learn new systems quickly

- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
